The 3 Step Plan

Each of us have very normal and natural responses to stressful situations, but we don’t all respond in the same way because we are all so very unique.  As you learn to become more aware of your own body, mind and spirit, you’ll begin to recognize the patterns of behavior, emotional responses and  physical symptoms that will typically emerge when you’re personally facing difficulties.  You’ll learn how to tune into them and pay attention to them so that you’re more self-aware of your needs.

You’ll learn a variety of effective, proven strategies which can be applied as soon as you recognize the signs and symptoms mentioned in step 1, and you’ll act sooner to manage your stress in a more healthy and effective way.  With access to appropriate resources to help your recovery journey, you can manage your stress response symptoms holistically. This  builds resilience, so that you can bounce back faster,  and resistance, which is like an immunity to future distress.

When the principles in steps 1 & 2 are applied correctly, and with the right support, you can “Rise Again” to health and wholeness.  This is called post-traumatic growth.  It’s empowering, liberating, and once you’re on the other side of the difficult and sometimes tragic experiences you’re recovering from, you’ll look back and know that because you did the right things at the right times, you’re a survivor and you’re going to be ok.  Now you can pay what you’ve learned forward to others.

You Can Rise Again

Everyone's life is impacted by trauma at some point, and often we are ill-equipped to manage the situation which causes us to feel overwhelmed. That's why I have dedicated my life to educating individuals, teams and organizations, to recognize the signs and symptoms of trauma and how to respond effectively, so that they can rise again to health and wholeness

My uncle who was like a dad to me, committed suicide due to his battle with Parkinson’s disease. I tried to ignore the pain all year but it just made it worse. I began to struggle with feelings of depression and anxiety, the fear of confronting my pain was overwhelming to me. Being able to process with Fran and receive counsel from her changed my life! Hope Chavarria

Mass Shooting Survivor

I'm a survivor of the terrifying Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting iin 2017. I was ok physically but not mentally. Fran really understood me and knew exactly what I was going through. She helped me get through the depression and despair. She understood me even more than I understood what I was going through. People who are experiencing any trauma in their life must have faith and never lose hope in themselves. Fran taught me that. Thank you Fran.

Tammy Ludlow

Senior Pastor

Fran came into our lives at the most tragic time!   Our lives were in a place of  devastation.  Fran’s crisis counseling approach was very instrumental and healing during our grieving process. I appreciated that her approach does not feel “clinical” and instead it was very compassionate and yet direct with specific tools that were given to us.  She brought to me a new understanding of “self care” and the importance of dealing with the issues at hand or otherwise you will be dealing with this years later.  Her approach allows one to feel safe and not judged which allows for wonderful vulnerability.

Dove Family Dentistry, Admin.

I’ve had the opportunity to attend courses taught by with Fran Graham a few times.  I’m in awe of how skillfully she leads us through the curriculum, making it practical, fun, and applicable. Her British humor brings comic relief as we work through the sometimes-heavy material. I look forward to receiving more training from Fran, who I highly recommend.

Martin Voge

Retired Public School Principle

I've worked with many outstanding teachers over the course of my career and Fran Graham is simply among the best.  She uses multiple teaching strategies that engage her audience and motivates them with significant takeaways. She draws the learner into dialogues, validates their input and will often warmly challenge them with follow up questions to lead to a higher level of critical thinking.  Great teachers inspire - Fran is a great teacher.

Sandy Lamb

Wichita Falls Police Department

I had the privilege of attending two of Fran's Critical Incident Stress Management  classes in Texas. Fran's ability to present the material to our police department's newly formed Peer Support team members left a lasting impression on me. Her background in Law Enforcement and personal experiences greatly contributed to our ability to connect with and deeply comprehend the information. Fran's patience and genuine passion for both people and her profession were evident throughout. Despite the challenging nature of CISM training, Fran skillfully infused the class with entertainment through her sense of humor and light-hearted approach.
